Yes I was once a teenager myself believe it or not. Yes I had sexual urges as a young lady like every normal human being. However, my parents didn’t inform me that it was perfectly normal and I grew up thinking that I was weird and dirty. Presently, this is still our problem because parents, especially in the Hispanic community, still don’t dare to approach their child about sex and everything else that has to do with sexuality. This is where I come in and to put a cherry on top I will throw in God’s rules regarding sex as well. I know that rules don’t sound like fun but believe me, they will save you many tears and heartaches in the future. If you don’t believe me, take a peak at people who don’t follow rules.
I have learned the hard way that it is so much better to ask God for direction before I make a decision. It works better than making a hasty decision based on my limited knowledge or on how I feel at the moment, then having to ask God later to get me out of the trouble I got myself into.
This applies to sex and everything else. However, making a bad decision about having sex will affect you far more than making a bad decision about buying a car, a pair of shoes or going to the right school. Sex is a sin against the temple of the Holy Spirit: your body. A sin against the temple of the Holy Spirit is a big offense in God’s book, it’s a sin that opens the door to many bad things in your life, one of them being Spiritual death: the worse death that a human being can experience. Don’t get me wrong, all sin is bad but sinning against your body has a special effect on your spiritual life and attitude. This post was based on the following scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:18

Welcome!
Hi everyone, welcome to my weird, nerdy, Godly, twilight zonish world. This is me the way God intended for me to be. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour when I was 17 years old, I took a step back into the world once, then I came back to the Lord when I was about 19 and never looked back again. I honestly believe that the reason why I am presently so blessed is because I gave my life to Christ whole hearted, as a youth. I created this blog especially with young christian or non-christian youth in mind. Sometimes they may not want to go to parents with certain questions and I can totally relate because I come from a hispanic family where the word "sex" is a mala palabra!! lol
I want to be some sort of off the books guidance counselor for issues that young men and women have concerning many facts of relationships: Kissing, dating, masturbating, touching, sex, etc. You name it, I can talk about it but there is a catch: My answers and posts will always be backed up by the Holy scriptures! Then I will give answers based on my personal experience which means that I won't be asking you to try something I haven't tried myself. If you don't want to reveal who you are that is perfectly fine but on my part confidentiality is very important and I will not be making spectacles out of your issues. I don't judge because I am not God, so you can trust me and if you don't that's fine, you can always trust God. You are certanly welcome to contact me personally on a message on facebook.
The second purpose of this blog is for me to work on my writing skills as preparation for my first book which I know I've been working on for ages and haven't finished but I want to set this as a goal for myself on this blog, today.
Another purpose for my blog is to share a little more than I can share on facebook. Everytime I update my status, many good things pop up into my corky mind but there isn't enough space to write it! Feel free to correct my Spanglish or to suggest different words or wording. My first official post will be based on your response to this one, so also feel free to add post suggestions.
So there it is, hopefully I won't be posting much about myself since I didn't create this blog for myself but for my readers and my beloved youth and for the glory of my precious Lord. Thanks for your time!
